What ages do you offer classes for?
We offer classes for children of various ages and experience levels, starting as young as 2 years old. Each class is grouped by age and ability to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
Does my child need previous dance experience?
No experience is necessary! We offer many classes designed for beginners, and our instructors focus on building confidence, coordination, and a love of movement from day one.
Can my child try a class before registering?
Yes! We offer a free trial class so your child can experience the class, meet the instructor, and feel comfortable in the studio before committing.
What should my child wear to class?
Comfortable clothing that allows for movement is perfect for the first class. Once registered, we’ll provide specific dress code and footwear guidelines for your child’s class.
Do parents stay and watch the class?
Parents and caregivers are welcome to watch through our big windows. However, they don’t come into the class with the child except for the Dance with me 2-3yrs class. For preschool age children, we do have a gradual enter plan for any little ones who need a bit more parent support at the beginning.
How long are the classes?
Class lengths vary by age, typically ranging from 60-120 minutes.
What styles of dance do you offer?
We offer a variety of styles such as Royal Academy of Dance ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, lyrical, Acrobatic Arts acro, contemporary, musical theatre & preschool dance.
Are there performances or recitals?
Yes! All classes participate in an end-of-year recital. We also have a showcase recital in February that most classes participate in. These performances are a fun and rewarding way for dancers to celebrate their progress and build confidence on stage.
What if my child is shy or nervous?
That’s completely normal. Our instructors are experienced in helping children feel welcome, supported, and encouraged at their own pace.
